Hi everyone, I recently had the opportunity to work as a Home Guide, and honestly, I loved it. It was such a great experience. All I had to do was show the tenant the apartment, like a very quick home tour. That’s it—no pressure, no difficult tasks.

When the tenant decides to take the place, they sign the contract later, and I meet them again to give them the keys. Then I go through a checklist to make sure everything is there, like the furniture.

It felt so good to help someone move into their new home, and the whole process was super smooth and actually kind of fun. So if you are looking for a flexible, easy side job, I totally recommend being a Home Guide. I loved it.

He’s Oh (nickname) from Thailand. He’s one of the Home Guides, and we want to find out how he feels about being a Home Guide and hear some of his reflections.

I think it’s a pretty fun side job to do because it’s a part-time job where I can help people find a place to stay. Since I’ve lived in the same building or the same area before, I can not only take them to the room, but also explain the area, how it feels, where they should eat, and how to get to the train station.

I get to meet people from other countries, so it’s quite fun for me. It’s the kind of part-time job you can do after work or in your free time. There’s no cost to do it—if you have time, you just do it. And if you manage to close them, you earn some money. So it’s really just a nice way to spend your free time.

Okay, today we have Anggia here from Indonesia. So let's hear what Anggia has to say about Rizurf Home Guide.

How did you find out about this community, the Rizurf Home Guide?

So actually, I started off by looking for an apartment, and Annie happened to be my agent. Our conversation just naturally went from there, and then I got to know the community as well. So I discovered Rizurf mainly through that.

Did you manage to rent from us?

Actually, I didn’t end up renting from Rizurf, but I did sign up for the Home Guide program.

Okay, so you actually became our Home Guide. Have you already Home Guided someone?

Yeah, I’ve only had one experience being a Home Guide, and luckily I managed to close the deal. So I think that’s a very interesting opportunity as well.

Wow, I’m so happy now. First time you do Home Guide and you help the person rent a unit and you got a fee from that. That’s awesome, right? Okay then, can you explain a bit about the person that you Home Guided? Where is she from?

She’s from Myanmar and she was looking for a place that is near her office. So I just helped her from there, mainly by getting her whatever she needed: the information, the details, what’s around the area, and how to get to her office. I think it just happened naturally from there, and it turned out she needed to find a place soon. So we managed to close the deal within just two or three days.

Yeah, that’s great. Quite fast, right? Just two or three days and then she decided to rent a place near the LRT in Bangsar South. And from that experience of helping someone look for possible options, that person decided, and from your effort you got a fee. So, did you already get the fee?

Yes, I did get the fee already.

Okay, how does it feel?

It felt nice because my intention was not only to earn side income, but also to help friends find a place to stay. I actually have experience as a tour guide, so becoming a Home Guide is also an interesting experience. I can share some of the insights from being a tour guide as a Home Guide—like what’s around, what they need—and it turns out they get more information from that. So I think it’s a really fulfilling experience for me as well.

How did it feel to help a friend find a home through Home Link?

I’m happy because I didn’t realize that I would get a reward. But yeah, since the process was fast and everything went smoothly, that’s why I introduced my friend Yumi to homefinderpro. I think it’s a really good idea—when you introduce someone and then you get a reward, it encourages you even more to introduce your friends or people you know to the platform, so they can get the benefits as well.

Why did you choose to rent out your unit through homefinderpro?

Hi, so I rented out my unit through homefinderpro, and I find it a really great way to do it because the experience has been very smooth and seamless. From the day I referred my unit to homefinderpro, they helped me find a good pool of potential tenants. They also prepared a tenant profile for each candidate based on what you’re looking for. So if you have certain qualities or criteria you want to filter for in a tenant, they help you go through that and only select the tenants who are likely to meet your requirements.

What benefits stood out to you as a landlord?

For me as a landlord, there are several features from homefinderpro that I think make it different from others.

First, the fees. They charge a one-time, one-month advertisement fee regardless of the tenancy period you choose. So for example, whether you sign a one-, two-, or three-year tenancy with the tenant, they only charge a one-month advertisement fee. On top of that, when it comes to renewal, most agencies normally charge around half a month’s fee for renewing the tenancy. But with homefinderpro, they don’t do that—they offer free extensions or renewals of the lease.

Another thing that really caught my eye is the RentAssure provided by homefinderpro. In the case where, for example, a tenant runs away during the tenancy period, they will provide the owner with one month’s fee in return. This gives landlords extra comfort and a sense of security knowing that this feature exists.

And finally, they also offer customization of the contract. They can customize the tenancy agreement according to your needs and preferences as a landlord, which I really appreciate.

My name is Yumi Nakagawa. I moved to Malaysia from Japan. The person who introduced me to HomeFinderPro is Monica. She works at the same company as me, homefinderpro.ai, and she was the one who introduced this company to me.

I was searching for properties in Malaysia online. I heard that the fees for agents were very high and that some people had fallen victim to scams, so I was very anxious. After Monica introduced me, I met the agent and was shown many properties. The person who showed them to me was Jonathan, who is originally from Indonesia. He was very friendly and kind.

The difference between other real estate agents and HomeFinderPro is the sense of trust. He listened carefully to what kind of property I wanted and showed me everything that matched. Plus, I didn’t have to pay any agent fees.

The key handover and moving-in process were also very smooth. After paying the deposit and then the remaining balance, I got the keys immediately and was able to start living there on the same day.

I moved from Japan to Malaysia myself, and when my colleagues need to find a place in Malaysia, I definitely want to introduce this agent to them. In fact, one of my colleagues also used this agent and now lives next door.

This wonderful apartment comes fully furnished with beautiful interior furniture, allowing me to truly enjoy a fantastic life here. I confidently recommend them.

How did you become a Home Guide?

I didn’t think about it for very long—I just agreed. I felt it was a very interesting opportunity. Annie gave me the chance to get to know the rental market better. I wanted to learn more about properties and housing, and I found that really interesting. It’s very different from my regular job, which is why I thought it was exciting.

Secondly, I can help other people through this, which makes me very happy. I feel it’s something quite meaningful and successful for me.

When did you help someone rent a unit as a Home Guide?

I think it was around the second or third week after I became a Home Guide that one of the tenants rented a unit. I was very happy to help him find a place to live.

Will you recommend your friends to become Home Guides?

Yes, I would. Like I said before, it’s very interesting, you can help others, and you can also learn a lot—especially about the rental market and how everything works.

For people like us who are usually very busy with work and often feel too tired to go out on weekends, we just want to stay home and rest. But being a Home Guide actually gives you a reason to go out. You can help others, and at the same time, it’s a kind of personal “exercise” or growth for yourself.

So I think this is a very meaningful thing to do.

I live here in Bangsar South at Camellia Residence, and I’m a Home Guide for Rizurf. That means I live in the building and I show the building, explain about it, and share information with people who are interested in renting. Shogo was one of those people—a prospective tenant—so we met during a home guiding session.

As our Home Guide, Helen showed Shogo, our potential tenant, several units in Invito and Camellia. Finally, Shogo decided to rent a unit through us, thanks to Helen’s home guiding. Now Shogo is our tenant and also part of the community.

Regarding the properties you showed me, I felt you were very attentive to my specific preferences and guided me very effectively. I viewed many of the properties you introduced, and among them there was one room I really liked, so I decided to go with that one.

When communicating with the representative, I was honestly very surprised to hear that they would provide a Japanese Home Guide, but at the same time it made me feel incredibly reassured. Since I’m still learning English and don’t understand much yet, having a Japanese Home Guide was extremely comforting.

Having someone who understood my words and could interpret them for me gave me tremendous peace of mind while searching for a home in a foreign country. I honestly wonder how I would have managed without that support. It was very reassuring to have someone who truly understood my preferences. I could convey my wishes, and they would clearly communicate them to the owner. Knowing they handled everything reliably gave me great confidence.

The entire process went very smoothly. It didn’t take long to move in, and I was able to move in on my desired date. If there are any Japanese people looking for a home in Malaysia, I would definitely recommend HomeFinderPro.

Transcript: Ahmad Zahir

Related service: homelinks

Hi Ahmad, what makes you want to refer other owners to us?

Because I myself also rented out my unit through homefinderpro, and I’ve experienced a lot of great benefits from doing so. I think it’s good to share those benefits with other landlords as well. In that sense, I would say that I also have trust in homefinderpro, which is why I recommend other landlords, especially neighboring landlords, to join too.

What happened after you referred them to us?

When I referred them to homefinderpro, the team contacted the owners directly to get the details of their units and everything else. Within just a few weeks, their unit was rented out to a tenant as well, so I feel very grateful about that.

What’s your role inside homefinderpro now, in terms of referring other owners?

This is part of something called Home Link. With Home Link, we refer other owners to be part of the platform as well. That way, more tenants can view their units and get them rented out.

Do you get some kind of helping fee from this once it’s successful?

Yes, it’s very nice to know that there’s also a fee provided when we’re able to successfully close a unit. That also motivates us to refer more landlords to homefinderpro, because we believe homefinderpro is doing a good job in finding tenants from a strong pool of potential renters.

What’s your advice to Japanese tenants?

When looking for a place, I think the most important things are the layout of the room, its location, and how you feel during the viewing. Pay attention to what you notice and what stands out to you when you see the unit. If you use HomeFinderPro, they can help you find a place that really matches those preferences.

My name is Saki Wakamatsu. I’m originally from Japan. I was introduced to this property and to HomeFinderPro by a colleague and friend from my cohort, Ryō Yusa.

My home search involved visiting several properties, and I made my decision based on price and the overall living environment. I was introduced to this particular place by Chan-shi-san. I also checked other websites and agents and viewed several other places, but in the end I chose this one because of the reasonable price and how comfortable it felt. It was brand new and clean, so I decided to go for it.

The key handover and moving process went very smoothly. I’d like to introduce HomeFinderPro to my colleagues as well and have them rent through the platform too.

Would you like to become a Home Guide and support other Japanese people searching for Smile Homes?

Yes, I would. I think it would be great to support new Japanese arrivals, so I’d like to give it a try.

However, I think finding a place to live is the most important thing. After looking into various options, I found a website called HomeFinderPro online. I checked the website, met my current landlord, and was able to decide on a place quickly.

It’s a trustworthy platform, so I definitely want to recommend it to everyone. Thank you.

Transcript: Divya

Related service: tenants

Hi, my name is Divya. I’ve been living in Laurel Residence for a little over a month now. How was your home search?

Before finding homefinderpro, it was a struggle for me. Some of the agents wouldn’t even respond to my messages. I would try following up, but I was just left hanging, wondering if they were actually interested in helping. And sometimes there were a lot of conditions when it came to renting a unit.

With homefinderpro, it was never like that. Of course, I still had to be cautious, but the experience was completely different.

How did you feel after you found homefinderpro?

I was very relieved because I didn’t have to go through the hassle of locating units on my own. Hamsa helped me find a lot of units around the area. I told her my conditions and criteria—which I don’t think were too demanding—and I still had a lot of options to choose from.

Would you recommend homefinderpro?

Oh yeah, for sure—both for owners and renters. Owners can list their units, and people like me who are looking for rentals can benefit a lot. I think it’s just so much more convenient to have someone take care of things for you. You don’t have to go through the whole journey alone. You have someone guiding you on what might be best for you and even helping you negotiate prices with homeowners.

Any advice for those still searching for a place?

Please reach out to homefinderpro. I’m not being biased, but when you’re overwhelmed and urgently need to find a place to stay, having that load taken off your shoulders really means a lot. It helps to have a professional come in and help you scout out what’s best for you.

My name is Rameez, I am from Sri Lanka and I work in Malaysia as a Financial Controller. I used to work in Sri Lanka and now I am settled down in Malaysia.

How did you get to know homefinderpro?

My friend who introduced me was my ex-colleague. After doing a lot of research myself, he recommended your company as a reliable place with good resources for finding a very good and secure apartment for me and my family.

How did you know it was the right place?

The most important thing for me was that the place I chose had to be secure and safe for my family, and also convenient for commuting to different places. So once all those boxes were ticked, it was an easy choice for me to select the apartment.

How long did it take to get a unit with homefinderpro?

Within about two weeks, when my visa was already settled, I was able to get all the paperwork done. Even though I had not seen the property physically, I viewed it virtually, and with your recommendation and my friend’s recommendation, it was very easy for me. When I landed in Malaysia, I could just come straight to the apartment.

This made the whole process much easier than coming here first and going through the hassle of searching for an apartment. I stuck with this option, and it was the best agency I found after so much research, and everything was done very quickly.

How do you feel about your overall experience with us?

I’m really thankful, first of all, for this opportunity to meet you all, and also for taking care of my needs and providing me with a good property.

Transcript: Nimalan

Related service: homeguides

Hi, my name is Nimalan.

What motivated you to become a Home Guide for homefinderpro?

I’ve heard a lot of interesting things about homefinderpro and about being a Home Guide. One of the things that interested me the most is that I get to connect with people from different backgrounds and different countries. I find that very exciting because I really like interacting with people, sharing my experiences, and learning about theirs as well. So I think homefinderpro, and being a Home Guide with them, is a great opportunity for me to do that.

What qualities should a Home Guide have?

I think a very good Home Guide is someone who is friendly, open, and genuine—someone who is willing to listen to the concerns and needs of their tenants.

I also feel this is what makes homefinderpro different from other property platforms. There is a very humane and strong relationship between the Home Guide and the tenants, from what I’ve seen. And this is something I want to adopt and embody as a Home Guide.

Transcript: Xin Ying

Related service: tenants

Hi, I’m Xin Ying, and I’m a tenant with homefinderpro.

Before I found them as an intermediary, I actually had a really bad experience of being cheated when renting a house. I was still in China at that time. My roommate and I found an agent on Xiaohongshu, and he took us to see some units that we had found online. We even checked his business license online, and everything seemed fine.

We transferred a one-month deposit from home. But when we landed in Malaysia, we stayed in the unit for just one night. The next day at noon, the cleaner knocked on the door and told us that the place was actually just a bed and breakfast — and that we had been scammed. We had to move out of the “rented” unit immediately.

While we were waiting downstairs on the first floor, we met a friend who then recommended homefinderpro to us. Through them, we got connected with a proper agency that helped us find a new place. They not only helped us find a home that we really liked, but also at a suitable price.

When you rent across borders, you can’t just fly over anytime to see the house in person, so a lot of it becomes cross-border transactions. It’s very easy to encounter fraud. At that time, I was extremely anxious about renting. I didn’t know who I could trust or how to check whether an agent was reliable.

With homefinderpro, you can trust the platform. They helped us find a suitable home and there were no problems throughout the whole process. Because of that, we trust them a lot, and I would definitely recommend this platform to others — especially foreigners or students.

This platform doesn’t just “do their job” and help you find a house. For us Chinese tenants, they also celebrate our traditional festivals, organize gatherings, and let everyone celebrate together. For students studying abroad or people working overseas, it brings a sense of warmth.

This is a platform everyone can feel assured about and trust when renting a home in a foreign country. Thank you.

Hi, I’m Kaho, I’m from Kanagawa and I’m currently staying at Laurel Residence. Why did you need to find a home in Malaysia?

I received an opportunity to work in Malaysia, so I started looking for a room.

Before you found homefinderpro, were you worried about scams?

Yes. Since I had heard stories about scams from people around me, of course I also felt uneasy.

Who was your Home Guide? Did having a Japanese Home Guide help you trust the process?

My Home Guide is Yumi-san. Knowing that there was a Japanese Home Guide made me feel very relieved.

How was the rental process for you?

The process up to signing the contract was smooth, and since they answered my questions carefully, I felt reassured.

What do you like most about your new home?

What I like about the room is that the furniture is very cute, and I really like the design.

Why should someone choose homefinderpro?

If I were to introduce homefinderpro, I’d say it has a reliable system. Being able to talk with someone from the same country makes me feel at ease, so I would definitely recommend it.

Hi, I’m Buwan Asian. I’m a tenant with homefinderpro, and I’m from Malaysia, from the state of Perak.

What did you appreciate most about your Home Guide’s assistance throughout the process?

My Home Guide was really friendly. For me personally, if I’m going to feel comfortable going ahead with something, the person helping me has to be very welcoming. I shouldn’t feel like they’re doing it because they’re forced to.

My Home Guide did everything very willingly, which I really appreciated. They greeted me nicely, and whenever I had questions, they tried their best to answer them. Even if they weren’t sure about something, they would reach out to the person in charge and get the information for me. I really liked that the effort was there—that’s what stood out the most to me.

Would you recommend homefinderpro to other expats or students? Why?

Yes, I would. Firstly, the whole process is very structured, so the experience of getting a place is very convenient.

If I have a friend or family member coming here, I know I won’t have to spend too much of my own time helping them with the housing process, because I can completely rely on homefinderpro to assist them. That’s why I would recommend it—and that’s the main reason why.

Could you introduce yourself?

I’m from China and I came to Malaysia to study. I’m currently at the University of Malaya, doing a Master’s degree with a major in Systems Engineering.

How did you discover homefinderpro?

I was browsing Xiaohongshu to find out how to look for a reliable place to stay, and that’s where I found homefinderpro.

What was your biggest frustration before using homefinderpro?

My main concern was that the agents or intermediaries might lie or scam me.

How was your home search experience with homefinderpro compared to other platforms?

With homefinderpro, the whole process—from finding a house to moving in—was very fast. It only took me about two days to move in and everything was done.

What impressed you the most during your experience with your Home Guide?

The communication with you was very good. I felt the service attitude was excellent. When I went to view the room, both the landlord and the agent were there, so the communication process was very smooth because all three parties were present.

How much time do you think you saved by using homefinderpro?

I saved a lot of time. For example, I could look for a house in the morning, visit it in the afternoon, and then check in within two or three days. It was very efficient.

What has your experience been like as a new Home Guide with Rizurf?

I started being a Home Guide about one month ago, so I’m still a beginner, but I’m really trying to do my best. I like helping people because I’m a very supportive person. I try to help them find a good, comfortable unit that is ready to move into and give them a positive feeling about their new home.

It’s been a good experience, especially for people like me who have a flexible schedule, because we can manage our time and still do our daily activities.

For me personally, it’s helping me a lot: I used to be quite shy, but now I’m becoming more confident, and I’m also improving my English. Sometimes my seven-year-old daughter even helps me, which is wonderful — it feels like the whole family is helping others together.

How did you first hear about HomefinderPro, and what made you decide to join as a HomeGuide? I actually learned about Rizurf and the HomeGuide concept through a friend who was living in the same condo as us. That’s how I first heard about it. Then we had an appointment and met Annie, and from there we decided to join and learn more about the concept. That’s how everything started.

What do you think about the HomeGuide concept — especially the part about meeting new people and building a community?

I think it’s a really good concept. We moved to KL from another part of Malaysia, so we didn’t have many friends here. Events like today give us the chance to meet new people and build connections. Also, since my wife is now a full-time housewife, this allows her to use her free time more productively. She can go out, meet people, and feel more engaged. Honestly, if I had something like this when I first moved to KL, it would have helped me a lot in making decisions and understanding the area better. So I think it’s a very good concept, and I’m really enjoying it.

How do you feel about helping tenants who speak your language or come from the same country? Does that make the process easier for them?

Yes, definitely. I was lucky when I moved to KL because I had a Sri Lankan friend who guided me. But not everyone has that advantage. That’s where this concept really helps, because meeting someone from the same country immediately builds trust. You can ask questions and clear your doubts comfortably. People from the same background usually have the same concerns — where to buy groceries, what transport options are available, whether you need a car, how public transport works, and so on.

It also helps with bigger decisions, like where to send your kids to school and what curriculum to choose. Because we share similar experiences and understand the cultural background, we can guide newcomers better. It helps them settle in, feel comfortable, and make the right decisions. This also creates a bond, and you naturally meet more people and expand your community. That’s really the whole objective — to support each other and grow together. We’ll definitely continue supporting this concept and hope to see it grow to the next level.

What were your top priorities in renting safely?

The most important things for me when searching for a rental were fast and clear responses, a friendly person to communicate with, and someone I could trust.

What made HomefinderPro’s process feel more secure?

Before using HomefinderPro, I contacted other agencies. The experience wasn’t good because their responses were very slow, and it felt like I wasn’t getting anywhere — just wasting my time. But with HomefinderPro, everything was different. They replied very quickly, and all the information and documents, even before viewing or moving in, were very clear. That made me feel much more secure.

In what way did the HomeSafe Bundle influence your decision?

The HomeSafe Bundle gave me extra confidence that everything was handled properly. All the documents and information they sent were very clear, so it made me feel super confident about the whole process.

My name is Indra Singh. I work at the Asia Pacific Broadcasting Union, and I’m originally from Fiji, a very small island country with a population of about 800,000, which is much smaller than Kuala Lumpur. This was my first time renting a home in Malaysia, and I’m currently staying at Laurel Residence, which has been fantastic so far.

As we all know, when you move to a new country, finding a place to live is always at the back of your mind. You want to find good housing—something safe, comfortable, and convenient. My biggest fear was falling victim to rental scams. You hear many stories about misleading listings, deposits being taken, or people disappearing, and all of that was on my mind before I managed to find this place.

I was referred to your team by a friend, Andrew, who had rented through you before. He told me that his experience was absolutely fantastic—safe, honest, reliable, and that the team was always there to support him. Because of his experience, I didn’t think twice. I reached out to you while I was still in Fiji and got in touch with Su. After arriving in Malaysia, I met her in person, viewed a few different units, and everything Andrew had told me turned out to be absolutely true.

With everything going on online these days, you really can’t trust everyone you come across. Andrew’s referral made a big difference. From the very first contact with your office, I felt that the team genuinely wanted to help and was willing to look for the best option for me. I did speak to a few other companies, but the way Su and the team handled my case individually stood out. They were patient, responsive, and very supportive.

Scams are not only an issue in Malaysia—even in smaller countries like Fiji, people try to take advantage of others. As an expatriate moving to a foreign country, you can never be completely sure who you’re dealing with. I was also thinking about whether the area was good, whether the facilities were suitable, whether the unit matched the photos, and most importantly, whether it was safe.

Once I met the team and started viewing units, those concerns disappeared. When I spoke to Su and she assigned someone to take me around, it immediately made me feel safe. I could see that the units being shown were genuine and well maintained. There was no pressure to choose anything. The team explained everything clearly and allowed me to make my own decisions. That gave me confidence that my interests were being prioritised, not just the landlord’s.

What I appreciated most was the transparency. From the beginning, the team clearly explained all the fees, business charges, down payments, and contractual obligations. There were no hidden costs. Everything was very straightforward. Even if it meant paying slightly more, I didn’t mind, because I knew I was being looked after in a foreign country.

At the time, I didn’t even have a Malaysian bank account. I had to transfer money from my account in Fiji, which took a few days. The team was extremely patient throughout this process, and I don’t think many companies would have handled it the way they did. Their patience and understanding really stood out.

From my past experiences, I’ve learned that landlords are often more protected than tenants. When Su explained that there was an additional protection feature available—which Andrew had also mentioned earlier—I had no hesitation in paying for it. I knew the team was looking out for me and that my rental and deposit would be protected. In today’s environment, it’s not easy to find this kind of safeguard, and knowing it was there gave me real peace of mind.

I’ve since recommended your team to others who are planning to move to Malaysia. The first question they usually ask is what this protection is for, and I tell them it’s there to protect you. Once they understand that, they’re very comfortable with the idea.

I would absolutely recommend your team to anyone moving to Malaysia—whether they’re coming from overseas, relocating for work, or even locals moving within the country. You put tenants first, and that really shows. You even organise events that bring together people from different nationalities, which helps build trust and a sense of community.

This is more than just a rental relationship. You make people feel at home. The service is easy, honest, and transparent. There are no hidden surprises. What you see is exactly what you get—the units match the photos, the fees are exactly as explained, and the service is exactly what is promised.

From the very first message to after moving in, the experience has been excellent. For me, honesty and safety are the most important things, and that’s why I trust and recommend your team.

Regarding RentFlexi, I think it’s a good initiative. For some people, especially families who are moving and managing multiple expenses, support like this can be very helpful. At the same time, I believe tenants also need to be honest and responsible. If a company is trying to help you, we should reciprocate by meeting our obligations and adhering to the agreed terms. I think it’s a great initiative, as long as both sides are transparent and upfront.

Good morning. My name is Andrew Davis. I’m a tenant from Australia, and I’ve been living in Malaysia for about 11 months. I rented my home through homefinderpro.

I moved to Malaysia about a year ago, and there was a lot to learn when I first arrived. One of my main concerns was understanding tenancy arrangements and tenancy laws in Malaysia. I’m familiar with Australian tenancy agreements, but I wasn’t familiar with how things work here, so that was a big consideration for me. I had also heard stories about rental scams and questionable real estate practices, which made me cautious.

Another important concern was understanding value for money. I have a good sense of rental costs in Australia, so adjusting to a different market and understanding whether prices were reasonable here was something I thought a lot about. I was also concerned about understanding my rights and obligations as a tenant, especially since I’m a homeowner in Australia and hadn’t rented for some time.

Transparency and trust were very important to me. I wanted clarity, complete information, and a sense that everything was being presented in a professional and honest way. From the beginning, homefinderpro gave me that confidence. I felt fully informed and trusted that I was dealing with a transparent and professional team.

One of the biggest advantages was being able to view many properties in a single day. I had limited time, and being able to maximise my viewings was extremely helpful. The documentation process was also very clear. I understood the steps involved, the payment process, the landlord’s responsibilities, and how everything worked from start to finish.

The process included the bond arrangement through RentSafe and even a home condition check afterward to clearly identify what belonged to the landlord and what belonged to me. The entire process was very well structured and thorough.

I dealt with the team while I was still in Australia. I contacted them via WhatsApp, and they sent me a full list of current listings, which was very helpful. From organising viewings with clear schedules, to follow-ups and explanations at each stage, everything was communicated clearly. Since this was my first time renting in Malaysia, understanding the process stages made a big difference.

Regarding RentSafe, I learned about it through homefinderpro and wasn’t previously familiar with it. While there are some similarities to systems in Australia, having this protection in Malaysia gave me reassurance. Knowing that I have backup and recourse as a tenant in case of disputes or issues with a landlord is extremely important, and I would highly recommend it to anyone renting in Malaysia.

What stood out to me overall was the organisation, logistics, communication, transparency, and clear expectations. It really felt like a complete package, especially compared to dealing with individual agents. That’s what made homefinderpro stand out.

I was very happy to recommend homefinderpro to others, and from what I’ve heard, their experiences have been great as well. I would have no hesitation in recommending homefinderpro to anyone looking to rent in Malaysia, whether they are expats or locals. The communication, clarity, transparency, and honesty are real standouts.

The moment I truly trusted the process was right at the beginning, when I booked my first viewings from Australia. I received clear documentation immediately about fees and expectations. That early communication impressed me and removed any ambiguity.

I also think the Home Guide concept is a great idea. Being able to relate to someone from your own country, whether through language, culture, or shared experiences, is incredibly valuable when relocating to a new country. It’s a real standout feature, and I would be very happy to be involved.

Hello, my name is Naohiro. I’m from Japan, and I recently rented a home in Malaysia through homefinderpro, a rental platform that helps tenants find verified apartments safely.

This was my first time renting a property on my own in Malaysia, so at the beginning I had many concerns. My biggest worry was rental scams in Malaysia. I had heard stories about tenants paying deposits that were never returned, or people not receiving replies after making initial contact. I was also worried about unclear information and poor communication during the rental process.

However, my experience with homefinderpro was very different. Their response was fast and polite, which immediately made me feel more comfortable. Because of that, I was able to continue the rental process with confidence.

I had already heard about deposit scams, cases where tenants are asked to pay upfront, and situations where money is lost. So those concerns were definitely present. While I have been in Malaysia for some time and felt relatively comfortable, I believe that for people who have just arrived, language barriers and unfamiliar rental practices can be a major challenge when renting a home in Malaysia.

What really stood out to me was how well prepared the tenancy documents were. Everything was clearly organized and explained, which made the entire process feel safe, transparent, and trustworthy. This gave me confidence that I was dealing with a legitimate rental platform.

When I met the team in person, I felt even more reassured. Being supported by other Japanese-speaking tenants who had gone through the same rental experience in Malaysia made a big difference. It was easy to communicate, easy to ask questions, and very comforting to speak with someone who understood my background and concerns as a Japanese tenant.

The explanation of the tenancy agreement in Malaysia, the rental procedures, and the payment steps were all very clear. Everything was explained in order, step by step, which removed a lot of uncertainty. From viewing the unit to moving in, the entire process was smooth and stress-free.

I would also like to mention the HomeSafe Bundle. The content was easy to understand, and what I appreciated most was that the support does not end after signing the contract. Knowing that there is post move-in support gave me peace of mind as a tenant.

In Malaysia, and not only in Malaysia, there are many properties where information is unclear or not transparent. That is why I believe using a trusted and verified rental platform is extremely important. For me, that platform is homefinderpro.

I would definitely recommend homefinderpro, especially to Japanese tenants and foreigners renting in Malaysia for the first time. Having support from people who understand the same concerns makes the rental experience feel much safer and more reliable. I believe tenants can rent with confidence through this platform.

I also think the Home Guide concept is very good. People come to Malaysia from many different countries, often alone or for the first time. Having someone who understands the rental process and can guide newcomers makes a big difference. It is a reassuring concept that helps tenants feel supported when renting a home in a new country.

Hello, my name is Yumi. I’m from Japan, and it has now been one month since I moved into my home here in Malaysia. Nice to meet you.

I was introduced to homefinderpro by my colleague, Monica. When I first started looking for a place to live, I searched online by myself, but honestly, I didn’t know which companies I could trust. I felt very worried and unsure about which rental platforms were reliable.

When Monica introduced me to homefinderpro, I immediately felt relieved. The apartment she showed me matched exactly what I was looking for, and I really liked it. I felt comfortable with it right away and decided on it almost immediately.

Before this, I had also heard from others that the Home Guide system was very good. This time, I met Kaori and Yuka for the first time, and since we work at the same company, I felt very comfortable speaking with them. Because of my experience, I confidently recommended homefinderpro to them as well.

They also liked the unit very much and quickly decided that it was the right place for them. I was really happy that I could explain the process to them and help them feel confident in their decision.

What I like most about the Home Guide concept is the sense of trust. Being introduced by a friend, and hearing real experiences directly from someone you know, makes a big difference. It increases confidence and makes the entire rental process feel much more secure.

I’ve also heard that Home Guides have opportunities to connect through gatherings and community activities, which I’m really looking forward to. I think it’s a great way to meet people and support one another.

By becoming a Home Guide, I’m able to help others while also receiving rewards, and I think it’s a very good system. Overall, homefinderpro made me feel safe, supported, and confident throughout my rental journey, and I’m happy to recommend it to others.

Homefinderpro has helped rent out my KL Gateway Residence and Southlink units. as well as units belonging to my friends in Bangsar South and Pantai Dalam.

What stands out is their structured platform approach, it is not just about listing the unit, but having a system that helps match tenants more efficiently and reduce vacancy time.

Features like Rentflexi with flexible deposit arrangements make it easier to secure tenants faster, while their RentAssure with additional safeguards give landlords more confidence when selecting tenants.

The team is responsive, professional, and has strong knowledge of the Bangsar South area. Overall, it is a more reliable and organised approach compared to the usual market process.

I would recommend Homefinderpro to owners who want a more system-driven and con sistent way to manage their rental.

Hi everyone! I recently moved to Malaysia from Germany, and I needed to find a pet-friendly apartment for me and my dog. Honestly, it wasn't easy because many apartments don't allow pets, and I was searching from overseas.

Luckily, I found homefinderpro. They understood exactly what I was looking for and recommended several pet-friendly apartments. They even arranged virtual viewings, so I could see the apartment, the facilities, and the surrounding area without flying to Malaysia.

At first, I was worried about renting a place without seeing it in person, but the team explained the whole rental process clearly, including the deposits and all the costs. Everything was transparent, so I felt comfortable and knew exactly what to expect.

Whenever I had questions, they were always there to help. They supported me from the first enquiry, through the paperwork, and even during my move-in. When I finally arrived in Malaysia, the apartment looked exactly like it did in the virtual tour.

Overall, the experience was smooth, stress-free, and trustworthy. If you're looking for a home in Malaysia, especially if you're moving from overseas, I would definitely recommend homefinderpro.
